As a company and a community, Knowee respects the rights of all content creators. Copyright owners can manage their rights on the Knowee platform by using the information and tools below. Learn more about copyright and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Copyright Policy
Knowee users are prohibited from uploading or submitting copyright infringing content. In other words, only submit your original work and not works created by someone else without their express authorization. Copying content from third party sources, either directly or by paraphrasing, is copyright infringement and therefore prohibited on Knowee.

Remember that your use of Knowee’s Services is, at all times, subject to our Terms of Use which incorporates this Copyright Policy. Any capitalized terms used in this Policy without defining them have the definitions given to them in the Terms of Use.
By submitting Content (documents, questions, Expert Answers, etc.) to Knowee, you represent that:
- You own the copyrights to the Content or have express permission from the copyright owners to use and upload the Content;
- Your uploading of the Content will not violate any law, regulation, or ethics code, including your school’s academic integrity policy;
- Uploading the Content will not violate Knowee's Terms of Use, Honor Code or this Copyright Policy.
Knowee will remove or disable access to Content if we are notified that it infringes on copyright. We will also terminate the accounts of those who repeatedly violate this Policy.
Copyright Disputes
It is Knowee’s policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe that user uploaded content on Knowee infringes on a creative work that you or an entity you represent owns and you want to request that the user content be taken down, please submit a DMCA compliant takedown request.
Rights holders can also report links to third party sites appearing on Knowee that contain infringing material by sending a valid DMCA notice at the email or address referenced below.
