Solution

To convert an SR flip-flop to a JK flip-flop, the inputs must be given as follows:

  1. The J input of the JK flip-flop is the same as the S input of the SR flip-flop. So, J = S.

  2. The K input of the JK flip-flop is the inverse of the R input of the SR flip-flop. So, K = NOT R.

Therefore, to convert an SR flip-flop to a JK flip-flop, the S input should be given to the J input and the inverse of the R input should be given to the K input.
