Great school with accessible professors who have Ph 'd that can help you, not some graduate assistant. It was nice to establish personal relationships with my professors, one of which was my Academic Advisor who kept me on track to complete my Mathematics degree in 4 years and coached me to be successful in my profession. Personal touch matters.

Adams State is a smal campus with a ton of heart. They are a lot more understanding than most any other school out there.

Not a great school. Transferred out after one academic year. There are some good professors, though ultimately, there is no quality opportunity.

Small college in the middle of nowhere, classes can be good but any other part of life there’s not much to do. School does come off a bit greedy.

It depends on what you want out of a college education. If you simply want to be someone who can say they have a degree then be all means. If you want to be challenged, respected, and listened to then go somewhere else. It has a high transfer rate as well as a high after graduation loan default rate. Come here at your own risks!

The online counselor education program is pretty disappointing. I don't believe you can learn to be an effective counselor through self-teaching and endless, endless, endless discussion boards. I wouldn't recommend this program, and furthermore, I can see why they have had accreditation problems in the past.

If I hadn't started taking classes for my major my very first semester, I would have transferred IMMEDIATELY. You get what you pay for...even if, like me, you're coming here because it's the best bargain you can find. Around 50% of our freshmen return after their first year; that speaks for itself.
