Adelphi is small school with students to faculty ratio 10:1, it means you will get more individual attention from professor

Such a good school

Adelphi is an outstanding school. Food on campus is ok, but food off campus is excellent. History department is the BEST! I've made so many memories here. I enjoy commuting, but it's a far drive. Garden City is gorgeous everyday. The opportunities here are endless. I have made lifelong friendships and made so many memories already in my first year!

I don't recommend.
Overall 1.3
This school is a glorified community college. don’t waste your money here. nassau community is better.
Overall 1.4
The Manhattan campus is in middle of nowhere. You have to self-teach the material. They give assignments without grading. Some professors are microaggressive towards students and are not helpful for you to pass their course. Its a one floor campus with no options for food or parking.
Overall 1.4
Stay away from this school. Especially as anything remotely in science. Few members of faculty are credible and knowledgable sources. Research and other opportunities are few. No one in the real world ever knows about Adelphi. All classes ridiculously easy. Watch out for frats and professors that assault women. Title 9 office and admin is useless.
Overall 1.4
honestly, go to another school for Nursing. One that won't have professors talk you down. Food is okay, pretty expensive though.
Overall 1.6
It depends on your major. Make sure you pick a department with a good reputation.
Overall 1.7
the school honestly sucks and will attempt to scam you out of any money you have. please pick a different school, consider community college or maybe even taking a year off if it's right for you. Honestly college is such a scam bro.
Overall 1.9
The school of social work building is subpar for the amount of money being charged for tuition, and crazy amount of student fees. The social work building is like two trailers stacked up on top of each other. The classrooms are tiny, stifling, no ventilation, and most of the classes for the social work program are held in other buildings on campus.
Overall 1.9
I am unhappy with the dorm life at Adelphi University. I am moving out after my first semester. The food only has 5 stations without any change. The rooms are small, with classroom tile floor. The bathrooms are become dirty frequently and take some time until the next cleaning. If you have the option to commute DO IT I highly regret dorming.

After only a few months here at Adelphi, I've found its not for me. I found myself very unhappy and unsatisfied here. I had high expectations going in and was extremely let down. I can truthfully say Adelphi is not worth the amount of money you spend to go here.
