Good reviews
Overall 4.4
Second year student and have been really happy with my choice of program. Recently we acquired a large number of ISPP students after Argosy closed. This has been challenging but rewarding as our student body has become more diverse. APA has been happy with out program development and every year seems more positive.
Overall 4.4
Great classes, competitive program, amazing professors, and a fabulous reputation. For PsyD programs, this one is above most in the country. APA recently gave a new accreditation to the program for at least another 7 years.

So now having over 2 years at this institution some of the other comments are right. The school is a good university but they do not seem to care about students as they move throughout the years. There is really poor communication from the departments to the students about important issues. They should really reconsider their approach.
Overall 4.1
The school really has amazing technological and social resources, as well as teachers. They teach you what you need to know and how to apply it. Adler also gives you an opportunity to get your feet wet with their practicum. I have strong confidence that I will be a good therapist because of the education I am receiving here.

No "socially just" school would charge what they do or increase their prices during a pandemic for poor virtual education. There is 0 organization and it's impossible to get a response from anyone. The training is terrible and it's clear how little they care about their students. I implore anyone to make a different decision for their school.
Overall 1.3
Adler was a good university that has lowered its standards and reduced its merits for admission. Sad to see a good school be turned into an institution that is intolerant to having a critical dialogue on issues.
Overall 1.5
Adler has progressively become a more disorganized and critical campus culture. Since 2018, maybe earlier, the school has been pushing identity politics. We also have been virtual for over a year and a half but are charged full tuition - which increased this term. Not very socially just in a lot of ways.
Overall 1.5
I'm exhausted by the incohesive nature of this school. I can go through an 8 week course and do less than a 16 week 0.5 credit course. That doesn't mean that they need to increase the workload for an 8 week course, it's that the 0.5 week course really, really, sucks in the workload which makes no sense. New professors are mean, older ones are nice
Overall 1.6
It's a shame Adler takes pride in marketing social justice yet many folks in high positions demonstrate everything but social justice. At some point, the school needs a thorough investigation of where our tuition is going as well as a investigation of other socially unjust practices going on there. Use great discernment when applying to Adler.

As a student that has completed all of the coursework for their doctoral program and who is now on internship, I have had a good deal of time with Adler. They do not communicate clearly and do not care about student wellbeing as one progresses through. Administrators are out of touch with the students and their tuition is not socially just.
Overall 1.9
They make this place looking amazing during interviewsopen houses. But be warned - once the school has your money, you're a NOBODY. There are some cool professors, but there are more adjuncts that ruin your experience. Keep applying to public schools with funding and work your butt off. Don't pay and put yourself in crazy debt, just for the degree
