Aims is the best thing ever and if you're considering it, do it!

I love Aims!! They care about their students!! (for the most part) They'll do anything to help their students successes!! I totally recommend coming here!
Overall 4.7
The upgrades they've done over the last few years are bar-none. The campus is very beautiful and safe. It reminds me a lot of a smaller private college. They really have a lot to offer and there's always someone willing to help you. The tuition is great for a community college where you can get all of your prereq's done. Would definitely recommend!
Overall 4.5
Aims has given me so many opportunities and has helped walk me through everything I need. I was so nervous about going to college because I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do. After the first and second semester, I have figured out what I want and how to do it. I have liked every professor I have had so far.

AIms Community College is a great school to get your Associates degree from. I've enjoyed every class I've had so far and all of the professors have been two thumbs up. The price is right and it is a great stepping stone for continuing at a 4-year university. Good job Aims!

I love Aims, it has opened many doors for me and the people that attend the school have been some of the kindest people I have ever met. The professors are great also! The Aims2unc program is very helpful when transferring and a great opportunity if unc is your plan.

It makes feel like I'm super safe and I love it
Overall 4.4
Aims is great if your starting out, they work so well with universities such as UNC and GCU so you can easily transfer or take credits from other schools, or do bridge programs almost insuring that you will be accepted at one of the other schools. I would say my experience with advisors has not been the best but other then that its great!!!!

I went here so I could transfer to a university. I had to figure everything out by myself because my adviser didn't know anything about the university I was going to. The people in admissions treated me like I was in high school. I would have rather spent thousands of dollars going to a big university than go here. Not worth it at all.
Overall 1.6
The classes are not difficult (except for in the Science department)and expectations are ridiculously low. No one attends class regularly, and people are apathetic and usually don't care much for learning. I'm only going here to get my prerequisites out of the way so I can graduate from UNC at a lower cost. I am definitely unhappy here.

This a failing school that has gone down the drain. The courses seems have lost quality, materials are way overpriced and the teachers have been more of a let down. It also seems they have little care for safety given they have allowed a teacher, Jared Merk, to go around stalking students on campus without any repercussion or help from security.
