Small class sizes means you are more than just your student number. Profs are accommodating and student services are very personalized.

profs really care due to the low ratio of students to profs, grate community, but you need to be a serious student.

Extracting tuition from international students for profit

Canteen food way over price. Clubs only exist for the name. Most Professors can't teach well.

Overall 1.1
Bleak, isolated school that is poorly run with low standards and a general feeling of hopeless despair. Classes are small, but that’s because body is here or cares. Save your time and money and go anywhere else.
Overall 1.1
The environment at Algoma University is very poor. There is a lot of stress in the school which make a very hard place to learn. Many disgruntled workers and in turn the students pay for a poor education
Overall 1.1
Some of the profs are really horrible. nothing to do on campus and overcrowding thanks to small spaces in the building
Overall 1.2
Faculty and staff just voted no confidence in the president and leadership following a regime of mismanagement marked by a ruthless increase in legions of underserved and neglected international students recruited for profit all facilitated by decreased quality of learning for all.
Overall 1.3
Tiny isolated school run very poorly with nothing much to offer if you do not already live there. The worst school in Ontario situated in a dying town. Not a great option.
