Good reviews
Overall 4.5
Alice Lloyd has provided me a tremendous amount of opportunity. This is a school I will always appreciate and be thankful I chose to attend. I have no problem in saying I am proud to be ALC alum.

Do not recommend if you want a college experience. College is dead on the weekend

Overall 1.5
ALC is terrible unless you play baseball or basketball then the rules do not apply to you. Student government/social life are nonexistent, dorms outdated, food disgusting, and the college directors couldnt care less about the students only about donors and making money. Unless you finically have to come here, dont do it.
Overall 1.6
This is a dreadful school. The area is secluded and boring.
Overall 1.9
For a place that was meant to give Appalachian kids a fighting chance at being somebody, the administration and some professors are very rude and impatient with incoming freshman when they ask questions that seem simple to them. First generation college students are made to feel out of place and unwanted. ALC cares more about its rep, than students

Great place to be if you are limited financially, for myself Alice Lloyd has provided so much more than just an education. For the last four years it has been my home, place of employment, and much more. Although it is not the typical college experience I feel like it has been an overall good one for me.
