Definitely what I wanted out of a college! I have no complaints about the people, the professors, or the classes. The only problem I have had so far is the food, but there are options off campus.

The school is terrible, the location is terrible. If you are an out-of-state student, without a car, and financial resources, this place becomes even worse for you. They are making tremendous budget cuts so they are getting rid of courses, professors, and departments in general. Budget cuts are made on the food so the food options are VERY limited.

Allegheny brags about the different disciplines that you can take. They do not have enough prof's or classes to accomodate you. The food is AWFUL and they did not have enough to give you the meal plan that you paid for. Students were given GRANTS the first year and could not return the next year.Shabby dorms- This is not a reputable college.

There'a nothing to do here. Dorms are okay, not great. Food gets repetitive really fast.

I'm a senior and I can say that yeah this college sucks. I stayed for the academics because it still is one of the most prestigious schools in the country but I wish I considered my happiness first. Bad location, bad people, bad food, bad everything. IF someone told me they were going to Allegheny, I would make aware of the cons first.
