I love ACC! It has supervisors who care about their employees and professors who care about their students. You have to cross the street and parking lots in order to go from one ACC building to another safely. I am excited to see Van Lare Hall under both modernization and expansion soon. Thank-you very much for having me at ACC!

I am from Alpena and originally didn't want to stay here for school, mostly because I wanted to get out of this town, as most people do. But, I decided to stay because it is cheaper. I'm in my second year & the only problem I have had is the limited options for class times; sometimes the classes i need conflict. I'm really glad I stayed here!

don't expect much.

ACC is a deserted tundra. Like many Community Colleges, everyone can attend. Having a passing grade is almost guaranteed. Social activities are nonexistent. The school has some incredible educators, and on-campus jobs are almost always available. Be sure to know what transfers to the college you want attend because the advising is poor.

Small closed minded town with few activities or job opportunities. But cheap wonderful education. Poor advising. P
