Loved this school and everything about it. Professors are all wonderful and very accommodating, always willing to help and make sure you have everything you need. Best school for degree and money.

10/10! I am so blessed to be able to have gone to a school like Athens State! The professors in the business department are angels and it is the most beautiful campus!

Overall 4.2
I love this school; it is a hidden gem! It does not get the credit it deserves. The opportunities are abundant to the students who apply themselves. Choosing Athens State was a beneficial decision for me.

Athens state was more boring than my community college. the staff was zero help the whole miserable the whole time I've been here. The teachers talked to you like a dog, they don't care about you at all and the staff could never answer your questions. overall, worst college experience, and I would not recommend ASU to anyone .
Overall 1.1
Terrible reputation, lack of employment opportunities, and miserable staff and faculty. Staff are no help and very unhelpful. Faculty advisors are not knowledgable and do not help you graduate. Pick another college if you want a good business degree.
Overall 1.4
Bad college with terrible academics. Poor academic reputation and really poor quality instructors in my Business Degree. Lack of employment opportunities for graduates and students.
Overall 1.5
Athens state was more boring than my community college. the staff was zero help the whole miserable 2 years I attended. The teachers talked to you like a dog, and the staff could never answer your questions. The "lunchroom" on campus literally took you 45 mins to get a dry sandwich. overall, worst college experience, and I would not recommend ASU.
Overall 1.5
Don't go worst school I ever attended have attended 3 other institutions that I was pleased with my overall experience but this was a total bust
Overall 1.8
The campus itself is not terrible, but the professors are awful. The classes do not prepare students for the workforce at all. A majority of the professors are unhelpful to say the least, and be prepared to be unable to find a better one because almost every class in each department seems to only be taught by two professors.
Overall 1.8
The financial aid department is a joke. They take FOREVER to reply to an email and thats IF THEY REPLY. They are usually rude and condescending. Their food place is awful. Stale food at gourmet prices.
Overall 1.8
I hate this place so much. Instructors are so slow to verify your attendance; which is really bad if you have to rely on your financial aid to pay for classes, rent, etc. Some of the instructors are incredibly rude. In the education department, hardly any of the instructors follow the teaching practices they are teaching you to use.

Beautiful, historical, and safe campus. Very limited student life and activities. Lower tuition costs than other public, 4-year universities. BEWARE OF SOME INSTRUCTORS IN THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION!!! Would not recommend for teacher training.
