I absolutely love Augustana. I really enjoy how small it is because you can really get to know your peers and professors, but it's not so small that I feel claustrophobic. There are lots of opportunities to get involved, and I love how UBG has events every Friday night. I also love how easy it is to study abroad here; IPO is very helpful.

Two words: LOVE IT!!!

Augie is Great. The professors are out of this world, everyone is friendly, the campus is great and Sioux Falls is a great college town. The academics are certainly challenging, but you'll definitely get a valuable education. I can't imagine walking out of Augie without being adequately prepared for the real world.

Classes are interesting and profound. They can be tough, but the school's reputation exceeds your GPA! A "B" at Augie is the same as an "A" at other schools. Also, the people there are so friendly and helpful!

Everyone here is so friendly! You will fit in no matter where you come from. The food is fantastic, the people are fantastic, and even the classes and professors are fantastic! The academics are great as well as the sporting events. There is a place for you here and I could honestly not imagine myself anywhere else!

Overrated school you can get better education at USD or SDSU at one-third tution fee.

I moved to UM-Mankato after 2 years at augie, best decision ever in my life. I don't think augie is worth 35Kyear when you get 200 times better education from state college at one-fourth the cost. Professors at state college are much research based and far better than small regional church-based college like augie is. No offence, but this is me.
Overall 1.2
Highly overrated by Sioux Falls people -- because there are no other school. At $38K you should expect to get quality education unfortunately, not so. At least, they should spend money in hiring some smart professors, not in making new building or stadium.
Overall 1.6
Its ok if wrestling is your future. If you are looking for science major, don't choose this college as your future will be doomed. Science professors are below average, can't explain a simple thing simple way.
Overall 1.6
I moved to SDSU. My two years at this college, a total waste of money and time. 80% Profs. are old and very ordinary, below average in my opinion. I have seen Profs. at SDSU. With 89% acceptance rate no wonder Forbes's current ranking for this college is 520 out of 650 colleges.
Overall 1.7
All around boring school that is quite frankly overrated. Good academics but that's about all its got going for itself.
Overall 1.8
Research at Augustana is a joke even though they call its a premiere institute. Their research is like reproducing what has been done long back. What a waste.
Overall 1.9
Strange high school. When you want to grow up and explore, you feel stunted by the childish traditions: the way the professors treat the students, the aesthetics of the dorms and camps, the final week activities. Science dept good, others ok. Bottom line: If you don't think you'll be comfortable here, don't go here. You'll find it hard to focus.

I went here for awhile and absolutely hated it. Professors and students are snobbish. If youre anything but a science, business, or nursing major I dont recommend wasting your time. My devices have been compromised through their WiFi before, too. Theyll promise you an amazing experience and youll be disappointed. Just steer clear.

This is an honest opinion from an international student. Augie is not a bad school. It is an academically strong school with good professors. Staffs are extremely helpful. It is damn cold here. I do not love the people here. The campus is usually dead. The activities + parties are lame. For introverted and anti-social students tbh. NO GREEK LIFE
