Good reviews
Overall 5
Never had more supportive professors. Transferred in from a different school that I felt was all about money. AU is all about education and guidance. They have lots of job events to set you up for success, and the online programs are AMAZING.
Overall 5
Great school! The online MSW program is easy and straightforward.
Overall 5
Love this school. From someone that has been at another school for a different degree, this school is leaps and bounds above others.
Overall 4.9
Love the school and criminal justice program. I did so many things with other students and helped in the community. Great professors and service.
Overall 4.7
Maybe I am biased since I like the small school/small classroom vibes, but choosing this school was the best decision I could've made. Professors are great, programs are awesome. They want you to succeed, but YOU have to put in the work. I was supported in my search for graduate schools and provided with great resources. I wouldn't change a thing!
Overall 4.6
This university sets you up for success beyond what I expected. Their drop in center, library, and writing center all make it difficult to fail because they are that helpful. The professors are amazing and I only had difficulty with one. Highly recommend! Also, veteran friendly.
Overall 4.6
This school is so amazing and everyone that I know that has graduated from this school has become a better person from being a part of this family. Aurora University and all the people and staff in it are a part of my family now and I wouldn't want to be at any other university getting my degree for my career.
Overall 4.5
It is a great place to receive an education. The campus is very safe and clean. The social scene and food have had vast improvements. Overall, it is a great school.
Overall 4.3
The school is in a great area as it is close to Chicago with plenty of fun and opportunities around. The sports are great and the athletes are close which makes it enjoyable. For the most part the teachers care and want to help however you will run into the odd poor teacher. Cafe food has improved and is great! GO AU
Overall 4.3
It's a pretty good school. Many of my professors have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable (may depend on major). It's mostly a commuter school, so the social scene may be a little hard for many to adjust to, but once you do it's pretty good. Food could be improved, but it feels extremely safe on campus. Overall, it's a great school to attend.

Chemistry department is awful. When students speak up to faculty, no changes are made. I will never recommend this school. Way too expensive for how terrible it is. Look elsewhere.
Overall 1
My time and money would have been better spent else where.
Overall 1
Choosing this school is probably one of the worst decisions of my life. I PERSONALLY do not like this school, at all. I chose this school because it was cheap but you get what you pay for. Luckily, I'm transferring out. But if you like that small school feel and being in a secluded area with nothing to do - Aurora is for you.
Overall 1
Not much to do on campus, very boring. Majority of people commute or go home on weekends.
Overall 1.1
Internet is a joke, good luck watching a 720p youtube video. Campus is virtually emtpy on weekends, and the dorms are basically jail cells with carpets. Expensive tuition and the work load is ridiculous compared to other more well known universities. Wish I had gone to a big name university nearby that actually has a good reputation. Transferring.
Overall 1.2
This school no longer has a great reputation. It has made recent budget approvals that it cannot afford and therefore is letting anyone in to their programs. Disorganized, poor and useless education, poor direction, and mostly adjuncts for professors who have no idea what they are doing. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Haven't met 1 other student happy w/ them
Overall 1.3
AU's primary interest is in becoming a nationwide model in the K-12 STEM community! 200 grade school students are getting top accommodations while the needs of AU students are neglected! AU needs to remodel the campus library and upgrade the campus Wi-Fi. AU needs to improve the competency and professionalism of all staff. C- needs improvement!
Overall 1.4
This school has no opportunities for students to grow. trying to find an internship is impossible. they built and created a program to help with that call the hill center for student success. however, they tell you just to keep looking. they do not tell you where or what you could do different to help you. this school is overall a joke.
Overall 1.4
Has some alright professors. Only cares about the nursing program and even then it kind of sucks. The food is bad, the wifi is bad, living on campus is bad. Campus security takes nothing seriously. School seemed to try it's best to make it difficult for me to transfer elsewhere. It's also empty and creepy at night, and none of the RAs seem to care.
Overall 1.4
This school is horribly overpriced for what they offer students. The administration is terrible. The campus "police" have an authority complex & are never helpful. The parking is AWFUL & campus police make it worse by blocking off what few parking spaces are available to "hold" them for any reason they want. Parking tickets galore at this campus.
