I am satisfied with Austin College. Everything is excellent, from food education. I love the fact that the professors here at Austin College care about their student's learning experience. I would not choose any other school above Austin College. I can not wait to start my sophmore year.

Phenomenal school that will absolutely prepare you for the outside world. It's liberal arts education will get anyone out of their comfort zone in an effort to make you a more rounded person. Loved every second of it and it helped my get into medical school!

This school created my dream college atmosphere.

Go 'ROOS. This place is awesome. You don't realize it till you graduate, it opens tons of doors. For all you negative people, just wait till your done with AC. You will realize the impact it has left on you.
Overall 4.1
Very caring school. I had the lowest sat scores entering. I studied hard and earned mostly As and some Bs. Nothing less. They believed in me and I produced.

It is a great school with great opportunities. The faculty and staff are great. The professors are very friendly and approachable.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The dorms suck and so do the bathroom and almost everything else about the school.
Overall 1.4
If I could change one thing about my life, it would be my decision to come here. If you're in the sciences, it's all politics. Do the professors like you? Because if they don't you're screwed. No respect. Lack of professionalism. I could go on and on. Saddens me to say I have no respect for this school or the faculty that represent it.
Overall 1.5
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go to a different school, especially if you are looking to go pre-med. The class registration is all screwed up & you will rarely ever get the classes you need without putting up a fight. Food sucks, ugly campus, no social fun, sports teams suck, the profs are no help, & biased research selection process

tiny college in a small town; very much like a junior college; great for pre-med but not much else because they actively recruit students who can't go elsewhere to beef up attendance; most students go home on weekends; they offer alot to get students but do not follow through with all they claim to provide; don't believe their self professed excell

Student evaluations are used in firing decisions of faculty. Its great to have student feedback but leads to lots of pandering by profs.

The only thing I can surely complain about is the housing. Sometimes, it feels like a well furnished prison rather than a university. With everything else, I can pretend like I'm living the dream. When I get back to the dorms though, it's insanely hard to pretend. Shared showers, tile floors, etc. Should have gone to UNT.
Overall 2
Boring town; terrible food; great for pre-med but not much else
