Great Catholic Education!!!
Overall 4.3
Everyone always says in college you're just a number. Not at Avila. Everyone knows you by name, the advisors personally know you and all of the teachers are amazing. The small class sizes make it easy to learn and get to know your professors. Avila is home for me now!
Overall 4.3
Books and parking are included in your tuition. Professors know your name and the dorm rooms are HUGE

You get a lot for your money!
Overall 4
The small size allows you to be a student, not a number. You also recognize a lot of faces in your classes which makes it easier to break the ice during group projects, ask your classmates questions, and really feel like you belong. It's also in a super safe and calm part of KC with party spots within driving distance.

Bad reviews
Overall 1.3
This place is awful. I went here because they offered me the best scholarship for baseball and the location is decent. The campus is a dump, the food is horrible, there's nothing to do b/c most of the students commute here. The athletics dept is a joke. We had better sports and teachers at my high school. Plus tuition is ridiculously expensive.
Overall 1.3
If you're looking for a school that'll give you lots of opportunities and where you'll have a great college experience, this isn't one. If I could go back in time I'd never attend this school. Over priced for what you truly get out. Try UMKC!
Overall 1.6
I literally going to Avila every day. If you're thinking of going here... don't. Odds are you'll end up transferring at semester or after your first year. Save yourself some time, go to a real university.

You will get more for your money somewhere else, I promise. It is expensive and the advisors do not listen unless you are a nursing student or an athlete. Frequent break-ins on campus. If you go there ask for ITEMIZED STATEMENTS. Avila had my review removed because I named the person who was the least helpful. The food pantry is just expired food.
Overall 2
The school is small. Some teacher are helpful.
