Great place

Simons Rock was what I needed in my life. It gave me a challenge and an excellent education. A word of advice dive into your studies. It will get you very far. What you put into this school is what you get out and I think that makes it an excellent opportunity to build yourself up from a younger age.

Great professors, and a ceaselessly impressive group of peers. You should only attend this school if you're serious about doing college-level work, because they really intend to give it to you.
Overall 4
Simon's Rock would be nothing without its faculty. Sure, the facilities are nice and Great Barrington is a cute town, but the classes are what really make this place worthwhile. I have never felt more heard in an academic environment, nor have I felt more challenged. You really do learn something new each day. Something groundbreakingly new.

Hands down the worst college in America. Abysmal student health, a horrifying administration, deaths on campus. Student suicides at a high. Very serious: do not go to this school. I went for four years and it was the worst place on earth. Racist professors, an administration that does not help students, and a ridiculously high tuition. Stay away.
Overall 1.1
Simon's rock is one of the worst places to ever send your kid. At 16? Give me a break. Drugs are EVERYWHERE on this campus. The administration knows and does nothing about it and charges and arm and a leg for everything. Stay away from this school.
Overall 1.3
Middle of nowhere, MA. Nowhere to go, nothing to see. Everything is old and dumpy. If the weather and the food don't kill you, and the students don't drive you insane, boredom will.

Its terrible
Overall 1.4
So happy it's my last year. I can't believe what a nightmare this whole pace has been for me, and I can't wait to leave it in the past. Horrible social scene, middle of nowhere, professors are great but the students are horrible. The school is falling apart and is incredibly poorly run. I wish I went to a different college, 2 years of my life gone
Overall 1.4
This school is an absolute mess. Please dont go here. I know high school seems bad, bust Simons Rock is worse. Everyone is on hard drugs all the time, there is nothing to do but smoke weed, and everyone is so strange. The food at D Hall is so bad that everyone ends up losing weight. The classes are good, but the people are overly opinionated.
Overall 2
Better than high school. A lot of people come here because they have no other choice (academically, socially, mental health wise etc.) Some professors are wonderful, others are terrible. Many people make a few life long friends but the school can be very socially isolating. Most people transfer out after a year or two without much support.

Look bruh: Simon's Rock is great for education. Ranked among Ivy Leagues BUT BUT BUT the food is jank. The accommodations for housing are sh*tty. No one has heard of this place. It's in the middle of nowhere. There's a lot of weed, alcohol, and emo kids. 1/3 of the faculty doesn't do their jobs but the other 2/3 are really enthusiastic. It's ok ig

Does it's job, and provides an interesting opportunity to those who actually try to pursue it. Little long-term ability, mostly stands as a platform dor transferring.
