I began my journey with BCC in 2009 as a non-traditional student(full-time job, Father of 4. I think it has been the best career move I could have made. My personal income has almost doubled due to the education I received a BCC. They offer a wide variety of classes that are designed to increase your human capital & online classes give great access

Barstow College is great! I wasn't exactly sure about what to do when I walked through the front door. From admissions to my professors in my first year, I have found everyone to be extremely helpful. Barstow has a lot of great programs to help students succeed. My choice to attend Barstow College was a great move down the path to a good education.
Overall 4.2
This school has fulfilled so many scholastic goals that I set for myself. I felt challenged but not overwhelmed. I engaged in PTK honors club both on and off campus.
The amount of financial resources seemed endless and the EOPS office and staff were above all the most instrumental in my success as a successful graduate.
Overall 4.2
I graduated from this school in 2020, and I loved my time here. The vast majority of the professors are amazing teachers who are incredibly helpful, the college cares about its students succeeding, and offers many resources to help. It was the best community college I could have attended, and I feel like a better student having attended here.
Overall 4.2
I love Barstow college. It's a small campus but its expanding, the teachers that I have taken have all been wonderful and the over all vibe it calm. The school office communicates fast if you have question, the classes are not overloaded like other schools so you can get in fast, parking is free, everything is close, and it is next to the freeway.

Great Experience
Overall 4.2
Transferring from VVC to this school was the best decision i made. The staff here were AMAZING and very helpful. I never complained! There were some off teachers but other than that i had no problem. Working here as a student worker was the best job ever especially. I fortuntally have to go back to VVC and hate to go back there. Miss you BCC....

I have no clue how this school exists. The programs they have are not career friendly and are made with the mentality that the students attending this school are not smart enough to gain an education in something like nursing or any medical career field. They offer cosmetology and automotive technician as their top career program. Very sad

I've only taken online classes here but the staff is terrible. I've never spoken to anyone on the phone because they don't answer no matter what time you call. Lazy and behind on technology. I will NEVER take classes here again

This school is the most unprofessional school ever. Its so confusing, there are some facultys that are nice and some are horrid. Absolutely was not pleased with it
Overall 1.4
I don't recommend taking Cosmetology here as they have a high drop out rate. Students just don't get any hands on experience. They get warnings from the State Board as to cleanliness and the school itself is under accreditation review.
