Great School!
Overall 4.8
I have really only good things to say about the Bemidji State.
Overall 4.7
I had the best college experience I could have ever asked for. I would recommend BSU to anyone looking to be at a smaller university, with a tight community, filled with outdoor activities, personable professors, and one of a kind opportunities. People here care.
Overall 4.7
I am so thankful that I chose BSU This school has so much potential, its what you make of it. Beautiful scenery and countless fishing spots. Coming from out of state I could not picture myself anywhere else. The only thing that could use work is dining hours. The food is average, but it has already been improving. Cheap school and well it!
Overall 4.5
I am an online student. I have really enjoyed everything so far. Friendly staff. When I've needed to come to campus everyone is helpful.
Overall 4.4
This has been my home away from home for many years, and I am so happy with my decision to enroll here!
Overall 4.3
Division I School at the price of a two year college. Great professors, great programs. The weather sucks sometimes, but we deal with it.
Overall 4.3
BSU has one of the best locations for any campus in the world. Right on beautiful Lake Bemidji, you can go for a swim between classes in the summer and fall and then park your vehicle on the lake to go to class in the winter! The university offers super affordable tuition and has a highly distinguished and recognized reputation. Highly recommended.
Overall 4.3
BSU is a great place! There are TONS of clubs--literally something for everyone! If you love the outdoors the location is perfect for walks in the fall and building snowmen in the winter. The buildings are all going through remodeling and look better each year. The students on campus are warm and inviting. The faculty and staff are great as well.
Overall 4.3
It's the safest place I've been and teachers try harder to help people than usual teachers
Bad reviews
Overall 1.4
Too many bad professors and courses. WAY TOO SMALL OF A SCHOOL. Go somewhere bigger. Its hard to meet people especially after a couple years. There is no job opportunity around this area,or at least not nearly enough to accommodate for a University being in town. Also the Bemidji area is sketchy. Do YOURSELF a favor and go somewhere else.
Overall 1.9
not my favorite place; went for a semester and transferred to SCSU. people are kinda odd and the location is in the middle of nowhere. reputation as a party school but is fairly dead. dorms are mediocre and the buildings are kinda outdated. wouldn't recommend unless you LOVE doing things outside.
Overall 2
Bemidji State is not great. There is nothing to do on the weekends other then get drunk. I haven't had great professors, the food is nasty, and Walleys is the only option for dinner most nights. The dorms are gross and the showers are worse. And there are really no off campus rentals. If you have a choice I wouldn't go here.
