This college is truly amazing. Nowhere else have I found such strong friendships with my peers, or professors that care more about their students.

I have grown so much in every aspect as as student and a person at Benedictine. The catholic culture is outstanding, the food is getting much much better, the professors and president of the college are very involved with their students and care so much. The academics are a bit challenging but they honestly aren't much harder than in high school.

Awesome school, engineering program is amazing!

I feel bad for people who don't love their school as much as I love BC. I went home for the weekend and kept thinking " I want to go home to Atch". As bad of a reputation as the city has, the school makes it so much more like home.

One of the greatest Catholic Colleges in America, Benedictine's only real downfall is their dining service.

terrible place to be. the location is awful and the campus does not feel safe. the people are incredibly judgmental if you are not catholic.
Overall 1.4
The school is very conservative and ultra Catholic. There are a lot of theology majors. Students abide by the rules very closely. In my experience, they will go out of their way to get you in trouble with the administration. Nothing like an average college. If you are looking for a normal college experience, stay away from this school.

Every time I told someone I went to Benedictine, no one recognized it or much less knew where it is on a map if I told them it was in Atchison. It's a good school if you want to be in an extremely religious and conservative environment. If you want an excellent, less biased education, look elsewhere.
