Berklee is the right place to go if you want to play modern music. you’re in the middle of one of the best parts of Boston, so food options are everywhere (including the grocery stores that you can walk to). The area is very safe, and close to several other colleges. Berklee is focused on results, you’re gonna need to practice.

This place is amazing. The staff are true experts in their field, you get a personal adviser and a well being adviser if you would like one. Peers are really supportive and collabs are encouraged. The staff are supportive post course completion. AND this college is known throughout the world as a leading music institution.

Amazing
Overall 4.8
Going to Berklee has always been my dream. It has some of the best, most caring professors I've ever seen. All they want is for you to succeed. Also, Boston is an amazing place. There is no place where I would feel confident going into music. They have what you need to succeed as a musician and person.
Overall 4.8
Berklee is a great school with tons of resources but it's WAY too expensive. You also have to know what you need to succeed and find it here. They won't be able to show you with so many students around. Also housing... please. Only 1 year and if it's not 160 or 150 you feel ripped off.
Overall 4.7
Berklee College of Music is a distinguished name for a reason. The teachers and connections they have are fantastic. Like any other 4 year college, yoir first 2 years will be mostly pre-requisites. To take the cool, essential classes that will make your career, you need to stay with it. Consider Berklee an investment in yourself.
Overall 4.6
Berklee College of Music is a music student's dream. It should be the best music school in the world, considering that it mainly focuses on contemporary / today's music, and many more aspects of the music industry than other music colleges.
Overall 4.6
No place like it. You learn and grow so much as a musician together with amazing and talented people
Bad reviews
Overall 1.1
At the audition they told me all sorts of promises, who I would get to study with. When I got there the famous people arent there. They pay famous people to represent the college and it is a joke. I did find great teachers for jazz studies but you have to know your focus. Many wannabe famous girls. For good music foundation do not go to Berklee.
Overall 1.3
No. Not a good music education. You can do what you want at this school and they will pass you. Its amazing how they get away with this. Taking money from girls who want to be famous. How do real musicians work here with a clear conscience?
Overall 1.6
Berkee is good only if you go there for the following majors: 1) MP&E 2)Jazz Composition 3) Film Scoring 4) Performance (ONLY if you study jazz) Music Business is garbage, liberal arts are a joke, and music therapy is a meme. trust me
Overall 1.6
this school is not worth it's 'reputation', which is the reputation for hiring famous players to 'teach' (if they show up for your classes at all...). There is a thing known as the 'Berklee Blast' concerning the cafeteria... As a drummer there were not adequate practice facilities. Waiting for a practice room is like a scene from Hunger Games.
Overall 2
Berklee is too big. There are some good players but many bad players. If you don't like your PI teacher you can jump around and do whatever you want. No standard Berklee shows off students who come in playing, I didn't see my friends actually get better, and I didn't either. I was busy playing shows all the time but didn't learn how to play better.
