Institution Overview

  • Public/Private: Private career college
  • Established: 1975
  • Founder: Berks Technical Institute was originally established by the Lehigh Data Processing Institute, which later changed its name to Berks Technical Institute. The founders of the original institution are not explicitly listed as individuals, but rather as an entity that received its license from the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools in 1982. However, if we consider the historical context and the evolution of the institute, it can be inferred that the key figures involved in its establishment and transformation were: - **Lehigh Data Processing Institute** (as the original entity) - **Ferdinand Thun and Henry Janssen** (as founders of the Textile Machine Works, which influenced the educational landscape in the area) Thus, the founders or key entities involved in the establishment and evolution of Berks Technical Institute can be listed as: Lehigh Data Processing Institute, Ferdinand Thun, Henry Janssen

AVOID this institution! They will rob you for your money and set you for failure. The instructors here "BS" a lot on the work and then blame you for it. I think this school is running a scheme on people. They literally make you fail. This school is really not worth going. Choose another school. You'll regret it like many others & I do!

I was lied to upon admission about the program in which I was interested. I felt like I was in a babysitting facility, not a place for higher education. The nearby community colleges are less expensive and better quality than this place.

this school is a waste of time.
