BSC is like home. Tight knit community. Great professors. New President (Pres. Linda) is fab.
Overall 4.6
BSC is a great place to be! I'm so glad I ended up going to college here. The professors and students are the best part; everyone here is so genuine. It's a great place to go if you don't want to end up at Bama/Auburn with your entire high school. BSC is a great place to get a super high quality liberal arts education and make lifelong friends!
Overall 4.6
BSC is truly my home away from home. I honestly love being here and have made the best friends I could ever ask for. My professors are all very helpful and understanding. I love that I have a one on one relationship with all of my professors. I honestly cant picture myself anywhere else. BSC has all of the good aspects of a small school.

Love my school!
Overall 4.2
Where else would I want to be getting the best education, with the best people. There is something to do every weekend and mostly throughout the week. There is a reason why we are ranked among top institutions in the nation.
Overall 4.2
The school is not well known. There is not a big variety of food.

I am a little torn about Birmingham-Southern: there are some professors that are exceedingly kind, and yet, there is also a lack of academic integrity regarding fair grading when it comes to assessing papers, class participation, and anything else that cannot be objectively measured.
Overall 1.3
Come visit BSC! Where we have break-ins/robberies every week, no money so the school "almost shuts down" every few years, mediocre professors, horrible food & horrible staff in food operations, dog crap on the sidewalks, dorms with black mold, and MANY se**al as*ault predators! (if you are a victim, the school won't help you.) You'll love it!

After going here for two semesters, I can say that this school is nothing like what they make it out to be when you tour. Most of the students are snobby and the teachers are not helpful. They are mainly biased and try to push their personal agendas on you when it comes to politics. If you disagree with them, your grade reflects it.
