I have attended other universities, but none can compare. My advisor is very responsive and available outside of normal hours. The professors are kind and genuinely care. The registrar and financial aid are responsive, but they are a bit overworked. It typically takes them a day to respond to emails (best just to call). The best school.

I hate this school with a flaming passion. My advisor ignores my emails/calls to set up appointments with him. Business office fell through on my financial aid (they rectified their mistake, though). Professors are snarky. I loved college before transferring here. I'm now considering dropping out. Do NOT choose Bluefield State. You'll regret it.

Starting around 2007, with the printing of the last yearbook, we began to kill student activities on that campus and the cafeteria deteriorated. If leadership could be developed, I’m sure that there is enough of a foundation to build it up again. There is a great disservice being committed against the students by the current administration. It's okay. It's not the absolute 'best' school for social life, but it is focused on your learning, and I suppose that's all that matters.
