Being an older student, BPCC made it easy for me to start attending college and get my remedial courses taken care of. All of my professors have wanted to see me and every other student succeed. If you are struggling at BPCC and fail, I feel like it's your fault because everyone is willing to help you; my experience anyway.

Best online school for good money. I learned so much and the professors actually tried. I was able to learn so much from them, they gave grade feedback on my papers, and was able to go to my next college as a confident learner. Thank you BPCC!

I was skeptical about attending a community college to start my college years off. BPCC administration and faculty is very hands on, communicative, and is willing to help you with whatever problems you may have or questions you need answered. BPCC has exceeded my expectations. I love it and would highly recommend to anybody! Great teachers!

Very clean environment, I love this school.

This college has come a long way. The teachers WANT you to succeed and put every opportunity they have to offer on the table. This has been by far my best school experience.

Great school, but needs more degree programs!

Every time they say there will be in-person classes again they cancel them. Starting to wonder why the campus exists. Havent been there since March.

I graduated in 2004 but just took an online Spanish course to add to my Bachelor's through LSUS, the professor wasn't even in country nor did she give any effort to help with issues I was having with web browsers and there were 3 different websites to work on with multiple areas to work in, which was very confusing.

If youre considering BPCC for nursing - Don't. Out of the hundreds that apply for clinicals, only around 50-60 make it in. Out of those, only roughly 20 percent graduate. Saying that the professors don't care if you pass or fail is an understatement, because they actively try to fail you. They openly admit they only care about NCLEX passrates.

Do not attend this school if you expect to have a life or job outside of it. I took twelve hours, thought it would be easy ... every waking hour Im doing homework or studying, with zero help or compassion from teachers and zero contact with classmates. I easily do 80+ hours of of study a week. Its misery here. Avoid.
Overall 1.3
Nursing program is terrible. They like to publish their NCLEX exam Pass % but they don't publish the fact that 75% of the students that start the program don't even get to take the exam because they leave. Teachers, if you can call them that, belittle and berate students in class and clinicals. Very toxic environment. Sad people pay money for this.
Overall 1.6
BPCC says that they're harder but you get a better education. That's simply an excuse for many bad teachers. That's really why it's harder. So many classes with teachers that read power points simply to outline topics to talk about briefly. Then you go home, read, and teach yourself. Is that what we pay for? I've had just a couple great teachers.

I put 2016 as my graduation year, but that's actually the year I escaped. Hated my time here. Most of my teachers were terrible (never hard, just terrible and rude) and I was very discouraged when I left. An adviser snappily told me I wasn't meant to go to college. But I transferred out and am THRIVING at my new Uni. SO glad I'm done with BPCC.

I haven't been able to connect with my classmates at all. The teachers just put out material and make us do quizzes. It's really boring.
