BYU-Hawaii is a unique special place. Small enough to have very close relationships with teachers while providing an environment that is fun, close to the beach, safe and free from students getting massively drunk.
The feeling is spiritually enlightening and the whole campus is frequently surrounded by beautiful beach and mountain golden light.

Great location if you don't mind small town. Very experienced professors.

Great school. It's small so everyone knows each other, it's like going to a large high school. If you're looking to get lost with the crowd its not for you. The professors all seem pretty relaxed but definitely make you do the work good news is you can usually find them. The diversity is top-notch, kids from all over the world. plus Hawaii so...

Overall 1.1
An outdated campus trying to catch up. Honestly if your not from United States you will do well here as the school seems to profile based on internationality. Even on choosing people who should not go to the school. People work there who shouldn't and in general everything is way outdated. Church is mandatory unless you want to be kicked out.
Overall 1.5
The school is so far away from downtown, so inconvenience. The rule is harsh. The food in the cafeteria is not good and is very expensive.
