Best place to attend college and serve God while learning

Really stands by the motto, "Christ Above All".
Overall 4.2
The school's motto is "Christ above all". So, as expected, there are a lot of bible classes that are mandatory (chapel 3x a week). Every class on campus is started with a prayer. There are also some strict rules (ie. strict dress code and absolutely NO ALCOHOL for students.. ever). But the quality of their programs and professors can't be beat.

Motto says it all: Christ above All. High academic standards taught from a Biblical World View.

Pseudo-college. More like a day camp for people who can't get into a community college. Got a full ride playing ball so am dealing with it.

This place is a disappointment. Everything you read in the Chattanooga Times Free Press is true. Christ Above All is applied to get you in the door. When you get here, Christ is the first out the window! Faculty are treated like crap and students are pawns to pay the president his absurd salary. Go to Covenant College or Lee University!

Total waste of money. Total joke. PSGS program is weak and it's faculty is unbearable. Worst decision of my life. 4 years wasted!
Overall 1.4
This place is a nightmare. Not only is there absolutely nothing to do in Dayton, but the school is awful as well. The only decent lunches or dinners is chicken tenders and spaghetti. And we only have those on days where students are visiting. We have 4 different variations of pork loin. The internet is practically useless from 4pm-11pm

The kids here are strange and love to sit in the grassy bowl and sing all day.

This place makes me regret coming here more and more each day

Transitioning from Bryan into professional circles that aren't explicitly Christian and very conservative is very difficult. Bryan professors and administrators, while my personal experience with them was excellent, live in an evangelical bubble and are ill-equipped to prepare students for professional life beyond college.

This school is great in it's own way. But please, read the guidelines book before you decide to attend. basically either you have people loving God and respecting rules and authority, or people hating the school miserably attending and breaking every rule possible. Very strict but faculty are AMAZING! very relational and want to really know you.
