Nice school not to big but not to small neither. you wont get lost like at WSU and the classes are awesome, no falling through the cracks of the unknown. every bit as tough as a four year college but the community basis of a small town feel. Love this campus and school.

This is a great college to do you gen eds at. The teachers care about educating the students!

Great value for a college education. Buildings are always clean and safe. Environment is calm and easy to learn in. In my experience however, professors are either amazing, empathetic, and easy to learn from or frustrating and unhelpful so it’s important to choose your professors wisely. Other than that my experience has been great.

BCC has a lot of bridge programs with 4-year schools and the tuition rate is affordable.

I absolutely love Butler, if you are a person who is willing to work and try they will jump over the moon for you!

Great professors, I go to the Andover campus and some of the buildings are kind of old but the 5000 building is VERY nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Do not go to this school if you actually want to learn. The number of times I had to correct my teachers was insane for a college. I had to help teach my math class math because my teacher would confuse himself, I had to show teachers how to use their computers so they could get assignments ordered by date correctly, even turning on projectors.

wouldn't recommend it. Advisers don't care and teachers are a mess.
Overall 1.5
Butler is everything you'd expect from a college that kids go to only because it's cheap. Everything is bellow average, including the teacher's opinions of you. Suffer your years out here if you family is demanding you get a degree, but if you want to have a college life you don't regret, pay a little extra to not feel incarcerated.

Really what can you expect out of a college in el dorado kansas
Overall 1.7
It's just a sucky school in general. Good for a degree but that is all.
Overall 1.9
Butler does a great job with making sure they are providing back to their students (ex. free parking, free printing, small class sizes). However, the quality of education is poor. I show up to class and receive an A for putting forth no effort. I do not feel that I have learned anything and am nervous that will bite me in the butt when I transfer.

Advisers in Andover couldn't help too much, the credits don't transfer to too many places, and some teachers are just disrespectful. If you want to use your laptop, then be prepared to buy a WiFi hot spot. The janitors are really nice and they keep the inside clean.
