The San Francisco and Oakland campuses are as different as night and day.

Just a generally really bad school honestly. If it weren't for the scholarships I would definitely transfer out. So much of the staff was fired which limits our security like crazy and there are basically no lounge areas for students. There is no gym or any way for students to get in physical activity and the facilities are broken or semi working.

In short, I regretted choosing my MFA here. Complete waste of money. Take your money somewhere else and get better education. I was shocked how bad their program is, graduating from a public school (UC).

The school advertises it self as very open and opportunistic place where you can explore different areas of study but taking anything more than the required classes is extremely difficult as course work is extremely demanding. Many shop spaces are restricted to core major or class specific, resources for prototyping is very limited and are lacking

I'm going to be honest, the friends I made there was the only good experience I had. Some teachers were okay, but the whole system of running CCA is very flawed. Yes I know this is a private school, but it feels as if they're doing everything from pointless fees to expensive classes to suck the money out of broke art students.

I went here, the education and social scene here is not worth the money( trust me). Go to a different art school or University.

Animation program doesn’t have professionals to teach industry standards. Was promised paid internship and told that BFA program is so strong that I won’t need MA. In reality non of it is true. Everything I learned is coming from YouTube and online courses. Do not waist your time! Awful disappointment.

I often wonder if I'm wasting my money going here. The faculty in my department are frequently okay, but most of the classes I'm made to take outside of my department just feel like wasted time and lame excuses for the school to get more of my money. The people who run the school are genuine ogres with no respect for the school's history.
