Great school!!
Overall 5
This is a great school with passionate professors who really cares for students to enjoy the class. The campus is also very beautiful, clean, and safe. The union is a great place to do homework and grab food. There are many parkings on campus and around the area. Overall, Sac State is a great school to be at. Happy to be a Hornet!

I am extremely happy I decided to attend Sac State. I had the privilege of being enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program and attend courses with various professors that made a huge impact on my learning experience.
Overall 4.8
As a transfer college graduate student, Sac State is great university. The location is nice and the greenery around campus is amazing! Campus is huge, there is a lot of parking structure options. Diverse school, everyone is always in a great mood a very positive happy campus. Professors so far in my semester have been fun, exciting and chill.

Amazing professors! I am in the BSW program and have enjoyed all my courses, professors, and classmate participation. The campus is absolutely beautiful with plenty of options for food, studying, and relaxing. Lots of online and Zoom classes offered as well.

Great school, the campus is beautiful

Outstanding school. I am happy to have attended and graduated from this university (Class of 2023). I had amazing professors and I made great friends while living on campus. Living on campus was exciting and it feels like your home away from home. Great Exercise Science program! I made a great choice and you will too. Stingers Up!

Seems funding only matters with sports and not funding the true meaning of academia which is classes and services. And not to mention the sports sucks.
Overall 1
Only school to deny me financial aid while my siblings received it from their schools. Constantly threatened to kick me out of the dorms for their mess up with my payments. Constant crime on campus. Most of the buildings are designed after a prison. It's not worth it, pick another university.
Overall 1
Limited course options, high tuition fees, an unwelcoming class environment, and unhelpful instructors with access issues on Canvas. Don't take their performance seriously, and contact the professor if available, though they may be an AI. Non-white students may face additional challenges.
Overall 1.3
If you are an Econ Major and want to succeed, this is not the school for you. You will get pushed back from graduating on time because the department cares more about people staying in their major departments so they can benefit and not get fired/laid off. The moral is super low, the education will not make sense and only 3 out of all faculty helps
Overall 1.4
lots of traffic and campus police tickets. congested area. really boring place . library has nothing to offer and is very noise and crowded. cost of living is really high. instructors are more about pay checks and dont care about student or civil rights.
Overall 1.6
Commuter school, awful drivers, 85% terrible staff 15% good staff. So not worth going here, not worth bragging about. Average campus with awful safety. Parking lot is a mess constantly, traffic is backed up all the time. Had several terrible professors which students have tried to get rid of, but nothing is ever done about it. Go somewhere else.
Overall 1.7
Location is a traffic nightmare. Never sent me the parking permit I bought and wouldn't refund me. Bookstore emails got sent to spam, never called me, sent my rental fees to a debt collector. Homeless man followed me on campus threatening to kill me, no security. Tuition fees you can't opt out of. Tenured profs are brutal and unfair. Awful school.
Overall 1.8
Antisemitism is rampant. Shootings, stabbings, and assaults frequently occur nearby with little to no acknowledgment by administration. Students is CS are treated like bags of money while opportunities are minimal. CS classes fill up immediately making registration very difficult. There is only one CS advisor for over 3k students.
Overall 1.8
Very outdated school, teachers seem to care very little. I’m an Econ major and in all my classes majority of the students are failing. The curve is great but the education is very poor. Overall this school feels very ghetto
Overall 1.8
It's an okay school, they made the right moves during covid(which is still going on), they have some helpful resources, cool programs, a few good teachers and classes. 1.7/5
