I like it here

Ppl comment & warn other students from refusing to apply at East Bay for its 90s look. Hayward does provide vital areas to entertain yourselves. You might have to do some traveling. If you like the beach, I strongly recommend Half Moon Bay or Pacifica. Dont just stick around at the school as if you were at home, explore the Bay Area a little!

This is probably the most diverse campus yet
Overall 4.9
Cal State East Bay is an in and out university where everybody is on their grind and extremely focused. Luckily, I've crossed paths with some of the coolest people. My main highlights consisted of coming out of class to a beautiful scenery of the Bay Area. Good luck to you and I hope CSUEB treats you well; blessings and love!!

School is amazing, beautiful campus and nice professors and staff
Overall 4.9
East Bay is an overall good school. It is not a "party school" but very community based. Not a lot of distraction on campus. They keep you informed about community events and school events very well. School is very clean and they have lots of different food options on campus as well as off-campus.
Overall 4.8
CSUEB feels like a family. I will be playing music on my speaker and n body will say anything because they are chill. Everone is chill.

School filled with great opportunities!
Overall 4.8
This college is absolutely beautiful. Best view of the surrounding bay area is out over Lot A/B or the top of the science buildings. The professors and view are great, but the rest of the staff seem lacking. I fought to register for classes the 1st quarter and continuously was given false or not enough info by the general staff. Weeding us out?

Great Professors
Bad reviews

I and other girl were drugged, abused, insulted and sexual assaulted by Professors during 2017-2020. I attempted to suicide many times. Principles, Dean at the business and athlete department ignored my assaulted reports. The staffs and polices attacked me & pretended to accept my reports, but they were never submitted.

This school being in the Bay Area is priced appropriately but the advisors are the worse. Horrific professors again and again..
Overall 1.2
Felt like my degree was a scam. Most of the professors in the environmental studies department can't even help you get a job. They don't even have the required courses to even land a job in the real world. They don't care for the future of their students. None of the course I took really helped but two. This school was a waste of time.
Overall 1.2
CSUEB's administration is deplorable and careless, particularly in the economic and accounting career advice department, which has an inept staff. I never recommend students to take classes at this university. You are wasting your time, energy, and money if you attend classes at CSUEB.
Overall 1.2
RUN AWAY!!IDK what people talking about here. This school has no life AT ALL. no one talks to each other. No clubs/organizations. Food sucks. This school has extremely high self harm(suicide) ratio out of other school in CA. Helpless administrative staff. A lot of people here don't talk about their experience!!
Overall 1.4
Yeah they don't care about you, no one does housing, financial aid, advisors.. nobody!! Waste of time waste of money. The people are awful there, the whole vibe is awful. Don't go there cause you'll miss home. Oh and they don't about anything even if your safety is in danger.

It just seems like I could have spent my money better some place else...
Overall 1.7
Its mediocre at best. Barely any campus life, always smells weird in indoor places, crusty old chalkboard classrooms, and very very mediocre professors. I have maybe had 4 decent profs in my 2 years of school here and have made a total of 1 friend because of how closed off everyone is/ lack of on campus activities. Basically 0 college experience.
Overall 1.9
this school is extremely mediocre. barley any campus life, no clubs, food sucks, buildings are dingy and gross, most profs are not the best. if you have the option def go somewhere else.
Overall 1.9
-they dont tell you the graduation rate is 11% in four years until after you enroll -a lot of buildings dont have working ac -teachers dont really care about you and the way you learn -advisors ignore emails and dont answer all your questions
