This is a great school. The professors are always happy. Students are very outgoing and pleasant to be around. Had a great experience here.
Overall 5
Small campus compared to other school, only a 10 minutes walk across.

It’s an amazing school!!!!

I am a student from the area I live in a city over, but love it here. This school cares about the central valley and does a good job at educating those of us who live there. I did premed here and can say I got a high quality education and feel prepared for medical school. I feel that my professors actually cared about me and were available.
Overall 5
Dropped out of a UC went to community college and decided to transfer here. I am very happy I actually feel the professors care and I can push myself to succeed. I would say due to the smaller amount of students at Stan State I felt I received a great education. I even got some internships from professor recommendations. Proud to have gone here!!!
Overall 5
Quality education for those living in the Central Valley of California. Professors are for 80% of the time accessible. Educating the Central Valley is a priority here and the people here are getting just as good as an education as any other CSU if anything they get a better one due to smaller class sizes. You can feel at home here very easily.

Great school to get your undergraduate degree!

Bad reviews
Overall 1
Professors here are not organized if you get waitlisted for any class good luck getting in if you're not 1 on the waitlist. I transferred here from a community college and professors here are no where as caring or organized as my CC professors. Tuition here is way too high for the location and quality of the school. Barely any on campus jobs

This institution doesnt care about it's students. It would fight "racism" but didnt even question the unconstitutional vaccine mandate. Maybe chip implants are next. Bad school.
Overall 1.2
Terrible school. They charge almost double the regular unit price for their nursing students. Also, most of the nursing professors don't like being corrected, so do yourself a favor and take the grade you get without complaining unless you want to see your grade start dropping.
Overall 1.3
I looked at these reviews before coming to school and I blew them off, thinking "How bad can it be?". I should of listened. There is absolutely nothing to do here and I am bored out of my mind. All the food that is here is just diners, and you can get sick of it so fast. There is no campus life whatsoever. It's really sad.
Overall 1.4
There is no where to sit, hardly any space outside of the cafeteria and library. The wifi is terrible, and you lose signal in buildings. Parking is terrible, either very far or very close to other cars. Classes are hardly open, virtually impossible to get into class you need, might have to wait a year or two.
Overall 1.5
Don't waste your time going to to school. Professors don't care about students. Online classes are based on PowerPoint (No Videos) and most professors expect students to be experts and interested in the subject they teach. FIND A BETTER SCHOOL.
Overall 1.7
Don't bother going here if you are studying computer science the department at Stan is pathetically bad.
Overall 1.7
Avoid for Computer Science unless you're given the 10k/year scholarship. They faculty will not care about your success whatsoever unless you are a part of the exclusive group that comes with that scholarship. If you want to be a GOOD computer scientist or software engineer, please look elsewhere.
Overall 1.7
This camp is beautiful and quite and I heard it has great program in business and psychology but if you are planning to study science specially biology this is not a place want to go. Biology department has very limited professors and most of them are not expert in their field. So if you want to think about this camp think twice.
Overall 1.7
The tuition costs may be low in comparison to other universities in California, but I definitely do not recommend receiving your education here if you are given the option. I have never experienced such poor teaching in my life. Majority of the professors I had have heavy accents and expect too much considering how little is taught.
