I love this school. There are so many opportunities for the students, and there's a tonne of academic supports. The profs tend to overcompensate for the reputation tho, so they make their courses absurdly difficult bc Carleton doesn't tend to be well-regarded by old people who remember CU in the 40s. A great school, always cool stuff on campus too!

The other post about needing a lawyer is spot on, Carleton will actively cover up unacceptable behavior of its profs and throw you under the bus.

What a joke. Avoid this school at all costs I felt unsafe every time I stepped on campus. Also the profs are a joke so many should never have been granted phds. There were a few decent ppl but the bad far outweighed the good

Traffic is horrible if you drive to school. Their engineering department does not help students be prepared for the industry.

Carleton University failed to investigate and take action against multiple incidents of discrimination within graduate seminars by both professors and students despite my repeated attempts to address these incidents over the course of 2.5 years.

Do not come to this university, the professors are terrible, they don't care about your success and never reply to any of your emails. There is no academic support, the Paul Menton centre is useless, nobody here cares about whether you pass or fail. Lectures are dull and courses are uninteresting. Campus is okay but not great.
