It has a great location, in front of many stores and restaurants. There are a good variety of classes and opportunities offered. CVCC promises a good transfer to any state school and it's classes are mostly eligible for credit when transferring.

This school is great. The only way to make it fun and enjoyable is to be involved. You should reach out and have fun and stay involved. Thats where it is easy to be happy on this campus.

The best community college in my area. If your from Burke County, forget about WPCC. Come here! You'll love it.

Food trucks are usually always on campus and there is multiple vending options. The clubs are fun but you have to put out the effort to find them!! I enjoy this school and all of my classes have been great so far.

Do not attend here. If you graduated high school dont waste 4 more years of your life here just to get an associates degree or transfer. They are horrible people at CVCC. There are only a few teachers there that are good. Its a waste of time. The teachers dont even like the school so why would the students.

Catawba Valley Community College is a place that has very few opportunities. The clubs, if there even are any, are all student run and are not funded well. The location is alright but the pricings for food and such are HIGHLY overpriced. My one thing to say..... GOOD LUCK.

Do not rely on Student services to get anything done. They are never available when they're supposed to be open. They are disorganized, and most of the "counselors" have NO IDEA what is going on.
