Awesome experience.
Overall 4.4
Its nice once you get used to it. Its exactly what you would expect from going to college.

I don't understand the whole "no parties" arguments, like bro, you are paying for an education, not to go party. If you want to go party, go to a club. Teachers and staff are great, all of mine are lenient and very understanding about grades. Maybe don't choose useless degrees and you wont get useless professors : )

Central was not my first option as a school and in all honestly, I settled for Central. Throughout my first years here I thought about transferring twice, but I stuck out. I became more involved on campus. I became an officer in a club and leader in my residential hall. I met more people and make more friends. Central is not a bad school
Overall 4.1
People give this school a bad wrap on here but Central is a well rounded university and provides students with opportunities to be successful. The people that work here care for you and want the best for you. The food is just like any other college campus, not the best but very much fine. You will find success here if you want it.
Overall 4.1
I graduated from there. Most professor are cool but strict in their own ways. social pretty much joining clubs, concerts and so forth. Plenty of opportunities for anyone in STEM majors and food are pretty great at devil den.
Overall 4.1
I haven't been at Central for long . but I can say that I have enjoyed my professors so far and am liking life on campus!
Bad reviews

I went through the mechanical engineering program and it was terrible! Teachers simply do not understand the material they are teaching! There is very little school activities that are for everyone. The seldom activity the campus hosts is for a small population of the school. School did very little to prepare you for work environment.
Overall 1.2
I preferred my COMMUNITY COLLEGE over this 4 YEAR UNIVERSITY. The school is located in a crime-ridden, dilapidated part of New Britain for starters. The campus is cramped, the teachers don't teach anything useful, and the buildings and infrastructure are old and in need of repairs. Luckily, I am graduating soon. THANK GOD, and good riddance.
Overall 1.3
I'm barely gonna make it through next semester. Don't come here unless you wanna feel depressed... This school is awful, I'd feel happier being homeless I'm pretty sure. On the upside, if you are constipated, the food may help you. Other than that, you're out of luck. Go anywhere else, I'm transferring ASAP.
Overall 1.4
If i could give a 0 for happiness and social I would. living on campus is depressing and everyone is wack. I feel like I am living in an insane asylum, when it gets dark no one is out, on the weekends there is nothing to do, no parties, no frats, nothing. Everyone I know who goes here is either transferring next semester or next year. saveyourself
Overall 1.5
I really hate this school, very few good processors. Almost all engineering professors are arrogant who love to fail students, some even tell you to switch of you can't pass their class because you aren't good enough. Good luck when registering for next semester classes, they are always full! Go somewhere else.
Overall 1.6
Very depressing environment. Not many opportunities for growth.
Overall 1.6
This school has failed me multiple times. Professors are useless. Advisors are useless. Good luck self teaching because you’re on your own majority of the time.
Overall 1.6
Food will upset your stomach and give you cramps/Don't expect your credits to be placed properly/Expect a million emails about the same thing/Your professors are either really good or really bad/Dorms are basic/campus is dead on the weekends/Dining halls close earlier than listed usually, menus are never accurate/The good professors kept me going
Overall 1.6
There aren't any working cameras here, and they care more about your money than your education. Graduate and leave is the motto, and don't expect any help.
Overall 1.7
Professors are a hit or miss, the food makes my stomach turn upside down, campus is completely dead on weekends, everything is so far away (how is stop and shop a 3 minute drive but an hour long walk??) dining halls close way too early, registering for classes is a nightmare, and the environment makes it really easy to become depressed.
