Love the scenery of the campus shared with Highline College. Just one big building where all classes are located. In addition you can use Highline College library to study or do homework.

I love the area, I love the school, I love the locals. Overall great place to live and grow! Especially if you like the outdoors. Absoultely love CWU and the surrounding Kititas Valley area. This place will forever have a piece of my heart!

I have been here 3 years and loved it so much! Unless you are looking for a big city university, I would definitely recommend CWU!

Its a very good university, and most important affordable and small which help you because students can have closer contact with professor and classmates.

This Universities advisors are a joke Steve Schepman and Clare Brown are the worst kind of advisors the ones who dont care about the success of students at this University. I asked both of these advisors for help and was told to look it up myself or I cant help you with that. Terrible advisors!! Can a student get any help at this University?!?!?!?
Overall 1.5
Not sure why CWU Des Moines campus have such awful instructors. Definitely the worst I have experinced. There is a lack of passion for teaching, no desire to make their lecture interesting. Reading the book at home is the same as having the instructor read off powerpoint. No desire for student sucess, no desire to inspire students.
Overall 1.6
The best thing about this school is its location. Their instructors are awful & are horrible at teaching. You'll find very few that you actually learn from. Their online classes often require group projects, which defeats the purpose of online. And they love forcing people to jump through unnecessary hoops and gouging students with fees. AVOID!!!
Overall 1.7
Wow. I have never been at a school where they have such little regard to their students- and this is my second bachelors and I started at a community college. The advisors do not help you with anything and no one tells you about deadlines. The ED program is such a joke, and the VA is always messing up your paperwork. Spend the extra money elsewhere
Overall 1.7
They offer almost no electives for the accounting program. You can because there are no guarantees anything will be offered in a different quarter. Teachers are pretty bad. Lots of old guys who should have retired long ago. Only good thing about this place is the price and you get what you pay for!

Very disappointing and lackluster post-COVID-19. Minimal programs and classes are offered in person. Most if not all of the courses are fully asynchronous online as well. With only a few classes meeting in person once or twice a week at most in the evening with virtual professors. Do yourself the favor and go to any other school in the area..
