It is a wonderful place.

I was extremely nervous about attending College. However, Chattanooga States teachers and staff are very welcoming and are more than happy to point anyone in the right direction. They also offer a ton of FREE opportunities for a student to get any help they may need whether it be math or writing.

Bad reviews

the campus is dirty in some places.
Overall 1.4
This is a really low-quality school with horrible professors. This school is a joke.
Overall 1.6
It's a community college. There just aren't as many opportunities as a major university.
Overall 1.9
Not an educational institution. Adult students, full-time job? Not the college for you. 7- week courses, here to stay. Learned NOTHING to support my career. Tutoring impossible if you have a 9 to 5 job, assignments are due every 3 days, only time you can attend in-person tutoring will be Sat. TN should investigate funding. My degree is useless.
Overall 1.9
Parking is bad but not as bad as UTC. Money is spent poorly and rarely used to upgrade facilities or labs, I assume most goes to the faculty (not the professors)

It's looked down upon, academically. The location is beautiful, and if you know the right people I'm sure you could get some opportunities. Food is expensive.

I went to Chatt State for 4 years during high school, and I'm so glad I'm finally finished. I enjoyed hanging out with other people in my grade in between classes, but that's about it. Many professors don't care about their students. Most of campus is rundown and dirty, and feels unsafe. Many of my friends didn't like this school either. BEWARE!
