Love the school
Overall 4.5
This school is very social and is working to improve the overall experience for all students. I've been involved with a lot. Staff really cares and looks out for the students. Lot of free resources and opportunites!

It's a great school. It has a few bad apples.

It's a great school and everyone at CSU is accomodating the proffessors and staff. I was out of school for several years . Thanks to my CSU family i will graduation in 2015. CSU has enbrassed me and help me renew my focus in life. It's a great place to get your education. I can't say enough good things about CSU. CSU is a new and exciting ad

I wish I would have applied to UIC. $855 an online class and getting scolded by someone with a PhD in Addiction and Substance Abuse is not my idea of respect, especially since we are the same age. No respect at all. I don't care how many PhD's you have, you should be on time to an appt. with your student and DO NOT TALK DOWN TO THEM EVER!

Administration is EXTREMELY bad. They either dont answer the phone, or you must call a million times. Advising is also very bad, it is of great difficulty to even get in contact with your assigned advisor. The school is also in very bad physical condition with little to no upkeep. Majority of faculty has a very bad/rude attitude as well. Stay away!

I must say, this school is a disappointment! By far, the advisors have lost their passion for helping students. This place gives you the runarounds as if you applied to join the circus to work as an employee for the merry-go-round. Only a few good teachers there and they might run them away. I hope a change is coming soon!

I can't believe this hell hole exists. I would transfer out but no reputable will take their credits so I'm stuck. I'm just worried that when I graduate that employers will take one look at where I went to school and then toss out my application. Best to move someplace else that's never heard of CSU.
Overall 1.3
Terrible location for a campus. Professors are great the issue is just with the curriculum, and administration.
Overall 1.4
It doesn't have the funding it needs to be the great school it wants to be. The food is catered so they can basically feed the students whatever they want. The clubs do not do anything on campus and unless you are social and connected you find yourself without community. If you are not an athlete you basically have a small chance of making friends.
Overall 1.5
If you are a genuinely happy person, this place is not for you, it will ruin your enthusiasm for life. The professors are not helpful whatsoever, it is a campus run on feelings and not merit of knowledge and most importantly, it is a complete waste of money. if it wasn't for the pandemic, I would've never made it out in one piece. Save yourself!!
Overall 1.5
This school is an abomination to colleges, I believe they are failing students intentionally to keep their dwindling enrollment intact. I had a new professor tell the class that members of the faculty in that department told her that she was being too lenient with grades without reading any of our assignments. The grade scale supports this as well.

chicago state university This school is very disorganized. The advisor seems like they are trying to keep you in school longer than you need to be. Run from this school. It is a waste of time and money.
