-Fake Religious School -Rats in dorms -Tuition is high -Located in the middle of nowhere -Food if disgusting

If youre thinking to go to Chowan you will regret, this is worst place Ive been in my life, no places to go out, nothing close to the school, the location is the worst, no parties, caf is bad, dorms are bad, especially if youre a first year student. I transferred.

Chowan university is not a school for everyone , it is in the middle of no where all they care about is your money. They have rats in the dorms , they are all my food and didn't want to pay for it , DONT COME HERE your better of at a community college

I thought I would be coming to a great Christian school. Little did I know many of the people here are not Christians. The classes are very easy and the professors are nice. The food is not good AT ALL. Prepare to be bored on the weekends because there is nothing to do.

It's not what you expect

In my two years here Ive lived in dorms that constantly smell of smoke and drugs. Ive seen countless fights and witnessed a shooting. Had professors that do not even deserve to teach at a high school level (I am also an honors student). On top of that this place is in the middle of nowhere and there is never anything going on or to do! Hate it!

Chowan University is a small private college that is up and coming. Chowan has good preofessors, some better than others, but they provide a challenging education setting for you. It doesn't have a lot to do around campus especially on weekends. There aren?t a lot of food choices around in the area but the local restaurants that are here are good.

So many issues with the internet. not to mention that fact that it is supposed to be a christian school is rediculous considering what goes sown on campus sometimes. deffinitly need better professors and keep the good ones we have. its really not a bad school but the standard of education is sorta low considering certain reasons.

If you care that the school says 'christian', don't believe it. There are some Christians here, but a lot more who will try to lead you astray with false teaching etc.
