great undergrad program for science and engineering. high reputation in STEM.

Take advantage of the free class per year for alumni! Awesome for the working professional trying to climb the ladder.
Overall 4.6
Science labs are small but have all we need to learn and have some cool equipment. Great small science programs where we are taught by some top science professors. Extracurricular activities and clubs go well with the science majors.
Overall 4.6
faculty are awesome, really care about us. campus is a bit small but very cute. career center is very helpful for internship opportunities.
Overall 4.5
Came here for engineering and it is the best decision! Engineering profs care so much about wanting us to do well. It's not easy but the profs are such good teachers that they make the material much more understandable.
Overall 4.4
I love CBU! The bio professors are the best and care so much for their students' success. Fish Fridays in the caf is always delicious. The social scene is what you make of it. Although CBU is a small university, there is plenty to do. I have made some of my best friends at CBU.

Best college in memphis
Overall 4.2
CBU is a great place. Many of the below comments seem to be from disgruntled people. The professors in engineering, science, and math for sure care about the students! They work super hard to make sure we learn the material! I have had some of the best professors ever in engineering and math! If I could do it again, I would still go to CBU!

The internet in Rozier Hall sucks. I have to go to a classroom or the LLC in order to get a decent signal. The dorms are pretty dank. We share a bathroom between 4 rooms, but everything is dirty cinder blocks and it looks like it hasn't been painted or cleaned since the 70's. It's super gross...

My dorm smells moldy. I wish that the air conditioning worked. I miss my friends.

It's a third rate school. I had a better experience at the local JUCO. At least they had sports and activities outside of class. CBU has nothing...

I came here to major in English. They just dropped the entire program after I had enrolled this past fall. I have never heard of a college where you can't major in English. I guess I have to go elsewhere.

All of my favorite professors have left within the last 2 years. The academic rigor just isn't here anymore.
Overall 1
I don't want to go here anymore. I don't like the people. The cafeteria sucks. There's nothing to do on campus and the area around campus is dangerous.
Overall 1
I'm sad here. There's nothing to do at CBU.
Overall 1
It's simply not a very good school anymore. Do yourself a favor, find another place to pick up your degree.

It's interesting. CBU was once a strong academic university. Now, due to a string of horrendous leadership choices, it is dying. There is no academic rigor. Mission driven faculty and staff are leaving. High level academic students are staying away. Sadly, CBU's days are numbered and, as an institution of higher learning, it is circling the drain.

I feel like going to this school has been the biggest mistake of my life. I cry all the time wishing I never came here. I feel as if I permanently tainted my life for coming here and wasted time when I could have gone somewhere else to make precious memories and actually be happy.
