Good reviews
Overall 5
I highly recommend this institution. It embodies excellence across the board.
Overall 5
Dedicated, responsive faculty and staff. Good career services and support.
Overall 4.7
A fantastic non-profit graduate institution in a beautiful community. A part of a consortium of colleges, based on the Oxford model. CGU's sister colleges are the very top liberal arts schools in the country. An appropriate reflection of the level of education, campus investment, and community feel. CGU is within a beautiful cultural community.
Overall 4.5
I chose CGU because of the responsiveness of the administration, the support of the faculty and the prestige and reputation of the University. I am astounded by the amount of individual attention I have received from faculty thus far. My time at CGU has been nothing but rewarding and positive. It is my pleasure to share my experience any way I can.
Overall 4.4
CGU met or exceeded all of my expectations and desires for doctoral study. I received professional and engaged mentorship, took advantage of many research and teaching opportunities at CGU and the other Claremont Colleges, received conference and seminar funding, and was continuously pushed to develop as a researcher. It was a superb experience.
Overall 4.2
Great institution that gives you what you put into it! Learn from the professors and use your resources!
Overall 4.2
Very well-regarded institution with distinguished faculty in an exclusive atmosphere. CGU itself is excellent and stands on its own, but alongside the undergraduate colleges in the consortium, the academic and professional opportunities really are endless if you put in the effort. I'm very happy to be here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Overall 4.2
It's a fantastic university but you have to be willing to put effort in in order to get everything you want. Beautiful campus, excellent professors and an overall great community. Definitely ended up being the perfect choice.
Overall 4
The Claremont Colleges are all different, but great in their own ways. CGU is only graduate, but next to the undergraduate colleges. So Cal location has so many opportunities and the weather is great, especially in winter.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.7
This school has serious problems with quality faculty. A new president has come in, so hopefully in a few years it will be a respectable institution again. Until then, avoid this place. Go to a University of California instead and get a better education for tens of thousands of dollars less.
