CSU is a very welcoming place that sparkes innovation, growth, and knowledge through every facet of the campus community. I have found my place and paved the way for my future here.

Cleveland state is a good school to go to. They have many activities and clubs to join. They are very accommodating with students with disabilities.

Excellent opportunities and majority of faculty does their best to help make you your best.

I love CSU! The downtown campus is to die for and the education program is outstanding.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
it was very bad institution in North East Ohio, and professor are so low if you prepare to go to medical school.
Overall 1
Don't go here, not only is it unsafe but it is a terrible school. Literally go anywhere else.
Overall 1.4
Would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. The swirl of depression from the lack of social activities, dangerous surroundings, and lack of common areas is strong. The education you get may be fine, but seriously consider the other aspects.
Overall 1.5
DONT GO HERE
Overall 1.5
Transferring ASAP. Some people like it, but it's definitely not for those looking for the full 'college experience.' No parties, mainly commuters, hard to meet people.
Overall 1.6
Car Broken into, have to walk over homeless people to get to class, ghetto people attack classes, food is all deep fried or a dessert option, the CSU parking is the worst people in the world, the education is not that good, it is affordable comparing to other schools in the area.. only good for credits and grad school.
Overall 1.6
Had better education at community college (not easier, genuinely better resources) common areas are bland and uncomfortable, there is little to no student life, but you get what you pay for (compared to other college prices)
Overall 1.6
If you are someone that did not have a good time in high school and want a college that can really open up your life CSU is NOT the place for you. I have had a hard time with my mental health since enrolling in 2017, that has directly come from this place. Please for you mental health consider elsewhere. Good place if you want to b/w your parents.
Overall 1.6
Run. Do NOT choose this school if you want to feel any happiness or have any friends.
Overall 1.8
Been at CSU for ~4 yrs now and am only here because of my scholarship.
I've never felt like any class has been outstanding or that my wellbeing or safety have been priorities
