Coastal Alabama was the best 2 years of my entire life. Highly recommend going here before a 4 year school.

The campus is in a small community in Baldwin County, Al. We are a family and we support our campus through everything. No matter what, there is always a smiling face willing to lend a hand. Getting involved is the best advice I could give, because then you are in the know about events.

I've been out of school for a while. I didn't feel lost or behind. The teachers are great about offering help.

Faulkner State or Coastal Alabama Community College is amazing! I've taken many classes here through Dual Enrollment. I have decided to stay another year and get my basics out of the way. My classes have been super easy and my professors are extremely nice. I wouldn't think of going to another community college!!

If you gotta go JUCO, being close to the beach and around populated cities makes it nice.

Worse. Cancel classes after you drive all the way out there, and there's "nothing they can do" to make up for wasting your whole day, tuition, gas money and day care money. Totally impersonal.

Faulkner State is a community college that is basically stuck in the 90's. The web site looks like it was built by a 5 year old. It's useless with very little information. The Blackboard is an abomination. The dates are all wrong and it's not very easy to navigate. I do not recommend this "college" if that's what you call it.
Overall 1.2
Faulkner State Community College is the worst college I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The staff gives false information and the lab is only open during the day, making it impossible to do schoolwork in the evening after work. I was given wrong information so many times I lost count. Worst college in the USA.
Overall 1.6
this school is a waste. ive been screwed over semester after semester at how they may offer one class once a year and it may be at the same time as another class i need to take. its happened several times. i have also had classes cancelled after my schedule was finalized and i couldnt switch to another or i would have to cancel my other classes.

I wouldn't say I hate the school; I hated my experience. Didn't have as much "fun" as all my friends were having at big universities. With that being said, I wouldn't have changed it for the world. All my friends at those universities are failing and not doing well where I feel like I have been prepared. Transferring after my first year.
