Colgate is amazing. I wouldn't change where I am in a million years. Colgate fosters a community with incredible academics and is still crazy fun. To me Colgate embodies the mentality of "work hard play hard" where everyone is motived to be proactive and complete their work so that they can go out with their friends.

I like colgate
Overall 4.5
Currently a student at Colgate. Love it here. The school definitely focuses their money on the education instead of the food, and it shows. The Professors are great, especially for niche higher level courses, and the opportunities are endless, while also generously funded by the school. Campus is stunning, but in a rural area. Food is subpar...

I LOVE COLGATE. Nowhere else i would want to spend 4 years of my life
Overall 4.5
Combines a small liberal arts school with strong academics and a great alumni network with a social scene that rivals anywhere. 10/10

It's my first year, and I'm already loving it! The campus is beautiful, and the people here are very kind. The academics are rigorous, but people here are more collaborative than competitive academically. The facilities are great, and the networking opportunities are amazing.

It's in the middle of nowhere. Expectations very high. Not a lot of diversity or acceptance of a diverse personality.
