I love this community college, it has been one of my best experiences at a school in a long time. I am apart of several programs in the college and all of them have tons of support just waiting to be used by the students. There's just enough co accountability that you don't feel like you are on your own but you have to walk on your own two feet.

I feel so old writing this. Attending COA was great. I was able to get all my classes to transfer. Just really like the small size. It was easy to get to class.

horrible school. people in the administration building cant be any more apathetic towards the students success. also some of the professors there really just do their job for the pay. they dont care about student success at all. and some are questionable in their field of study due to their lack of knowledge and familiarity in the subject.

Most teachers and staff members are very rude. The cashier's office people are rude, the coaches are rude(the volleyball coach), the financial aid office people aren't very helpful, the librarians aren't helpful (if you ask them a question they will say "look it up on the computer").If you volunteer for something, they won't appreciate it or thankU

be prepared to do everything for yourself. i have never met a more apathetic group of people working anywhere. everyone seems to hate their job. oh! and RUDE! the teachers are nice enough but the admin staff could care less that you need help.

Small, dead, okay school. The food here is expensive and not great, so it's good that you can easily walk to Webster & Alameda Landing to get food. Bus is right across the street. Alameda is a safe community but the students here (no offense) aren't to be trusted. Really hard not to run into stalkers since it's so small. Tutors here help.
