this is a top 10 community college in the country and the top community college in the state. it is the second most well-funded community college in the state of california coming In just under DeAnza in the South Bay. all of my classes were less than a 30:1 ratio with doctoral level professors.
Overall 4.8

I absolutely have loved COM. The teachers are so kind and very helpful and really care about their students. The tutoring and Math labs are great (along with their faculty). Solid chill vibes!! low pressure and an added plus of a super beautiful campus
Overall 4.3

People give community colleges a bad rap, but College of Marin proves all of those preconceptions wrong. Honestly, COM is the first time I actually felt like I was learning and that academics were fun and worthwhile.

College of Marin is a great community college.
Overall 4.2
COM is a wonderful campus with good professors and a diverse student body. The campus is very modern, clean and accessible. It's Marin, there is people from all around the world. Sometimes it does feel as if people just want to get in and out of classes but, if you involve yourself in a club or program you will meet friendly and interesting people.
Overall 4.2
The Summer Bridge Program made me look forward to taking classes at College of Marin! I highly recommend it to incoming freshmen. I got to meet new people and I placed higher in the English and Math placement tests. There are so many student support services here! The cafeteria food is REALLY good.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.1
If you want to pay less for classes, this is your school. The quality of learning however is horrendous unless you find the maybe 3 or 4 amazing teachers on campus. The library sucks, this should be a center for learning. Teachers are mostly inflexible and have ridiculous expectations for a community college. Overall get in, get out.
Overall 1.7
this school is old! there's a lot of messy people there!gives an unfocused disgusting vibe!
Overall 1.9
Library is closed on weekends with no exceptions made. Overall quality of teachers is mediocre, minus a few outstanding professors. The administrative/support staff are overly burdened/burned out by budget cuts and the overall quality of the college is in constant decline.
Overall 2
Definitely won't have a memorable college experience if you stay here. Instead, see this campus as the bridge to higher education and you'll be solid.
Overall 2
Parking sucks, 0 social life, bad math dept. This is a school for students looking to get in and get out. Everyone commutes so after classes end everyone walks to their cars and take off. It almost feels that if you did not come into the school with fellow classmates from high school it is hard to make friends. Math department is kinda sad.
