College of the Ozarks is a great school but if you are not willing to work it is not for you.
Overall 4.1
CofO has had backlash lately, but for the most part, I love my time here! Only things to improve would be the following: More lounge areas with T.V.s, Open house hours with guys/girls dorms, More and more communication with the students!
Overall 4.1
CofO is unique in the fact that students can immediately apply classroom learning. All students work in the work-study program to offset tuition costs. Usually students can work in areas related to their major. For example, a hotel and restaurant management major can work at The Keeter Center, the on campus lodge and fine dining restaurant.

College of the Ozarks provides students with multiple opportunities. As a student, you have the ability to work off all of your tuition. While room and board is expensive, you are able to work off your room and board payment through their summer work program, which makes the college totally free. I would highly recommend CofO.

The school is lying when they say it is free. I'm over 20,000 in debt because the room and board is so expensive and they don't let you use a government loan to pay for it. DO NOT go to this school. It's much cheaper to go somewhere else because they don't take your pell grants.

small. everyone knows everyone. people are nice. too nice. lots of rules and lots of homeschooled kids. its called hard work u for a reason... its A LOT of hard work. no time for play or fun here. time to grow up fast. i'm transfering to MSU with normal people.
