The most beautiful setting ever!
Overall 4.4
The campus is beautiful and surrounded by nature. I received tremendous support from the EOPS program; I would not have been able to go to college without their assistance. People on here have been judging CR too harshly when going to CR is the budget choice and the quality reflects that. Given that, they do a wonderful job. I have enjoyed myself.

CR is a locally reputable school with ample support for students. The professors and students are both kind and motivated to be there. The campus is beautiful and many interesting classes are offered. CR is a great place to attend if you are planning to transfer or get an AA or other certificate.
Overall 4
College of the Redwoods has a beautiful campus! Students are involved and feel like they are truly part of a caring community. Small class sizes mean meaningful relationships with professors. There are great support like tutoring and EOPS. It is a little far from Eureka so commuting is required, but the bus runs directly to campus at good times.

I felt like I was being robbed by my EMT classes. To prove it I took three test without studying. I didn't look at my notes. I didn't read my book- I didn't have one to read; thats another financial aide story; and I took THREE test. I scored without studying 65% on ALL THREE test. I'm warning you this place is a hustle. Its a cop college.nothingmo

Shockingly, many of staff do not reply to their e-mail. This includes counselors, but if you read the catalog you have already outstripped their knowledge anyhow. Some teachers are great so if you pick and choose like mad you might be able to wring a half-decent education out of this backwoods enterprise but it is ultimately not worth the drive.

its worth coming if here if your not from the area.

The more semesters I take here at CR, the more I wish I would’ve chosen a different community college. It is a very small and isolated school, hardly any campus life. The internet connection on personal devices is horrible. Everything else is just adequate, administrators to facilities. The food is pretty good, except the prices are expensive.
Overall 1.7
NO cell service. Super expensive food. Never can get good help with class schedule Seem to screw everyone who comes there
Overall 1.7
College of the Redwoods is a complete disaster. The classes are cheap, but you get what you pay for. The classes I took in high school were more difficult. The student body is depressing. If you visit the library you'll understand the general lack of respect for education, it's impossible to study! The campus is in a terrible location.
Overall 1.8
There are a few good professors here. If you need to get your generals and save money, I get it. So keep your head down, tell your professors what they want to hear. Get in and get out. A huge problem I have with this place is also that they never clean the classrooms leaving germs to spread. The teachers encourage coming sick on top of that.
Overall 1.8
There absolutely nothing to do in the surrounding towns, there are beaches but the its always cold and windy, the wifi sucks, the food is okay but kinda spendy, no one cares enough to watch the sports teams and if you like to party there is absolutely none of that here

Welcome and enjoy your fifth year of high-school everyone!
