Great School! Great Professors!

This is a very good jr college. It is very affordable. Do not go spend a bunch of money any where else and rack up student loans. Go here and go for free and then do all your transfer classes to a 4 year here. Serious save yourself time and money going here. So easy, staff really great.
Overall 4.9
The staff wants to see you succeed and help in any way they can. Its been a great two years here.
Overall 4.8
Great opportunities await.

COS faculty have shown a lot of interest in helping me learn and succeed. I have completely enjoyed the classes I have taken here. Awesome community college!
Overall 4.6
It's a good school with good faculty that helps you get through the semesters
Bad reviews
Overall 1.1
unorganized
Overall 1.2
Ive never attended a school that cared so little about the success of its students. The staff here are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. So many fellow students have shared similar dissatisfaction. If its so bad I dont understand why the dean hasnt dealt with it? Seems like a lot of staff should be retrained or replaced.
Overall 1.3
This place is a complete joke. Need a counselor? Good luck. Need someone to enter your prerequisites so you can register for upper level courses? I've asked 3 times and have yet to get ahold of someone competent enough to do this. Need help applying for graduation? No one cares. Need anything at all? No one's concern but your own. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Overall 1.3
This college is so poorly ran, i can't even believe students manage to graduate. I've transferred here from another community college and within 2 semesters, they have lost my transcripts twice, made me take unnecessary placement tests (i am 8 units away from getting my associate and i had to take PLACEMENT tests), STILL haven't processed my info.
Overall 1.5
I feel as though my biggest issues are with the teachers. Most of them seem to be on a power trip and don't want their students to succeed. I think they forget they are teachers at a COMMUNITY college. They need to be more realistic with their grading technics. Also slim pickings for classes!
Overall 1.6
Worst place to learn. Very few good teachers. And the safety of the students means nothing to the campus police
Overall 1.6
I mean, it's a community college in the Southern San Joaquin Valley. What more did you want. At least it's not Porterville
Overall 1.7
Campus police are ready to give out citations but can't keep the parking lot safe
Overall 2
Has a lot of potential to be a fanstastic school. It's just not their yet. I never feel safe, what with all of the cars getting broken into.
Overall 2
This college is a consistent let down with its unfair registration dates, dirty classrooms, inconvenient class times, and long list of terrible teachers that outweigh the good teachers 3 to 1. Don't expect to find any intellectual students here either.
