Columbia is a great school for the creative mind!
Overall 4.6
I fell in love with this school and gave me so many opportunities! I love people here and that professors are practicing the field they are teaching. This place is full of creativity and associates only with good memories. The only downside is that meals at UC were awful :(

A really wonderful community of diverse folks in downtown Chicago. Cant get much better than that :)

I’m from a smaller town and love all the opportunities to connect with artists and the industry I want to work in, film. It’s Chicago but I feel safe and I like being downtown. I feel like I can be myself here. It helps to get to know your professors. A lot of them have job connections even when you’re a student.

This was my first and I am absolutely astonished by ny experience.

Columbia College is great for those wanting to get out of their small hometown and move to a big city to start new. Not all of the teachers are bad, but you have to do a lot of work to get ahead. Find internships, get your name out there, it's so important to do it sooner than later.

I fell in love with this campus after my first tour in 2019 and even though we are online I still feel like Im receiving an education I came here for!
Overall 4.2
CCC was a very fun school to go to. There was usually something to do school related, and always something to do within the city considering its location. However, it is very expensive and getting even more so. The teachers are generally very enjoyable and I have made great memories there.

Very happy with my choice to come here. Wish the wifi was better. But that happens!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.9
The school is not able to provide a comprehensive syllabus due to budget cuts, excessive facilities purchases, and a top-heavy organization. Expensive lab courses are often cut before all students can even sign up for them and cheaper classroom courses taught by minimally prepared adjuncts are substituted.
It sucks.

If you're a music student with not a lot of experience.... don't come here and switch your major. you'll fail guarantee...Specifically a vocalist. They need classes catered to us more because a lot of us don't understand much already just a passion to sing. I think Columbia is a bit limited with a lot as much as we pay for tuition.DO NOT COME HERE

Waste of my tuition, no open studio hours, admin and advisors keep information from you, many professors don't care and students are able to just scoot by.
