When you come to CUC you should expect a small community. And that is the great part about this school. Is being able to have such a close community who cares. If you need help all you need to do is ask. Nobody is ever going to be perfect so if something is going wrong you just need to ask people and get it solved. Overall an amazing school.

The Food here is good but it is the same food every single day with no changes in the menu. It gets beyond annoying to see the same food day in and day out.
Overall 4.5
Campus is in an upscale, safe neighborhood with easy access to transportation. Excellent professors who care about their students. The city of Chicago is your extended classroom and there is always something happening. You just need to be willing to take advantage of it.
Overall 4.5
You get to know your professors and they get to know you, not only on an academic level, but personally.
Overall 4.4
I love CUC, the campus is filled with nice people, professors care about you, the clubs have so many free opportunities, sports are okay (baseball is the best hands down), and the ResHalls are decent. Academic advising isn't on top of things so you have to push in that area. Overall, CUC is helpful in all areas if you ask for the help.
Overall 4.2
I'll admit that CUC doesn't have some things that larger universities would have, but it's music and education programs are awesome. The food could be better, the buildings could use a few updates, but all in all campus is beautiful, the clubs and activities are great, and the professors are really caring and have student's best interest in mind.
Overall 4.2
CUC is a great small school where the people are kind and the professors care. The only things I don't LOVE about CUC is the food and the parking situation. The food is average but they are working on it, and it has improved immensely and the parking garage fills up most days. Glad I chose CUC because the atmosphere is one of the best.
Overall 4
CUC is definitely not everybody's cup of tea, but neither is any college. I really enjoyed the small college feel, the close-knit community, and the location in Oak Park and near downtown Chicago. As a Christian student, there were many opportunities to connect with my faith. Education department and music ensembles are a huge plus.

I am in Computer Science. This program is awesome. I am going on my second internship. Job placement is 100%. I feel like at home and a great professor in Dr G, a genius, who is always willing to help you out! Food needs more variety! The new dorm is the best! Students are awesome here. I love the gym too!

School is terrible. No one knows how to do their job. They have no problem taking all your money for tuition and other unnecessary fees, but will also screw you over in return. do not attend this school.
Overall 1
The campus is really small the dorms are smaller. Barely any any cameras in the buildings. Definitely favoritism among the science department. Really not good food options and the vending machines NEVER WORK. Sport teams here are super cliquey and stick with each other.
Overall 1.1
I'm transferring after two semesters. I went here on the intent of getting something out of this school. If you are a transfer don't even think you are going to make friends because you aren't. The people up look at you weird especially if you are of different ethnicity. They try to sell you on the hand written letters but its all bs. Don't come he
Overall 1.3
Went here for a year hated it, decided to transfer to a WAY better school. The classes are small but some of the professors are just not to great. If you do decide to gocommute, living on this campus is a bad idea, its small and there is almost nothing to do. To add to this the student body is unwelcoming to anyone not religious or conservative.

I transferred after one year. They are all about the money. If your idea of a fun Friday night is a bible study group, you have found the right school for you. If not, STAY AWAY. They tried to make it difficult for me to leave, I even had problems with them sending my transcripts to my new school.
Overall 1.7
This school stinks. If you're not coming here to play sports, don't come here! The only reason I leave my room is to eat, go to class, and go to practice.

Small school in a great neighborhood. But there is hardly and advising or permanent faculty or staff. Concordia fired 47 full time professors last year and some were tenure. Constantly new people coming in to do jobs they aren't competent to be performing with little to no training or supervision.
Overall 1.9
This school is a joke. I can name great professors on one hand and the rest are incompetent. Some demotivate & try to kill dreams. They most likely got a job because they're Lutherans. Staff ignored me during a tragedy in my life. Campus is old & run down. Basically, don't go here if you're not Lutheran because they definitely get special treatment
